CHOSEN is a youth group (grades 6-12) that meets weekly for a time of devotions and rehearsals.  We minister the gospel to others through human video at a variety of events throughout the year.  For additional information on becoming a member of CHOSEN, please contact

What is human video?

A human video consists of a song or medley played over loudspeakers while actors use rhythmic physical movement (gestures and other movements of the limbs and body) to communicate emotions to a given audience. The performance is presented in a form similar to a music video. It presents a story that illuminates a particular artistic intent through spatial relationships, meaningful gestures, and artistic movement. Human videos often contain a variety of communicative art forms, such as: interpretive dance, American Sign Language, pantomime, and classic mime. (source:

In Him (Christ) we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.  Ephesians 1:11-12
God chose to create us in his own image. Take a moment to consider that... You resemble Him! We’re sure He doesn’t look like us. We know He doesn’t think like us. But what an undeserved honor to have been made “in His image.” (Genesis 1:27)  Inside each of us is more than just the fingerprint or the DNA of our creator; there is an image - an image that shines through in the talents He joyfully gives each of us. As we look out over a generation of students, we must serve as champions who point out the image unknown by so many.  It is a fact that the image is in each of our students. We are helping our students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts to the glory of the Creator.
Life is a song-- each day a note. Every week is a word, a month is a line. In a year, we sing a verse, and the chorus is sung every few years and on and on until full soundtracks of our lives are created.  What does your song sound like? How does it change? Who is it for? What is it about? If we pressed play in the middle of track 3, what would we hear?
Psalm 35:28 says, "My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long." Worship is a physical, emotional response to God.  It never stops and always needs renewal.
Before you practice or walk to the stage to minister,
remember that worship is not about the music, it's about a lifestyle.
We are CHOSEN.
